TOKYO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Mercuria Energy Group Limited today announced the successful closing of a new JPY 145.3 billion three-year Samurai term loan facility. The facility refinances Mercuria’s JPY 130.9 billion Samurai loan signed in 2024 and will be used for general corporate and working capital purposes.

The JPY 145.3 billion facility, one of the largest of its kind, reflects the long-standing support Mercuria has received from the Japanese loan market since its inaugural financing in 2014.

The facility was arranged by Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Mizuho Bank, Ltd., MUFG Bank, Ltd. and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, acting as Bookrunning Mandated Lead Arrangers.
