New North Central Florida location celebrates opening with free washes, special membership offer and $5,000 donation to CARC – Advocates for Citizens with Disabilities

LAKE CITY, Fla., Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Big Dan’s Car Wash is bringing its customer-centric car wash experience to Lake City with the opening of its newest location in North Central Florida. Known as the “Gateway to Florida,” Lake City provides a strategic connection between North and Central Florida and marks another step in Big Dan’s continued expansion across the state. This is the company’s fourth opening in four months, and they are slated to open three more locations before the end of the year.

To celebrate the grand opening, Big Dan’s will offer free washes beginning October 7, giving members of the Lake City community an opportunity to experience the company’s fast, convenient and customer-centric approach at no cost. Customers can also take advantage of a special introductory offer on Big Dan’s signature unlimited membership, the Auto-Graphx5, for just $5 per month for the first three months.

“Lake City represents another important step in our continued growth across Florida,” said Jay Shadday, President of Big Dan’s Car Wash. “We’re excited to establish a presence in this community and, just as importantly, to support an organization doing meaningful work for local families.”

As part of the grand-opening celebration, Big Dan’s will donate the first $5,000 in proceeds to CARC – Advocates for Citizens with Disabilities, a Lake City-based organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families.

CARC’s mission is centered on inclusion and empowerment, with the goal of including people with disabilities in the community by focusing on their abilities. The organization also recognizes the dignity and worth of people with disabilities and works to empower them and their families to meet their own needs.

“CARC’s mission is easy to get behind,” said Tripp Flournoy, Chief Operating Officer of Big Dan’s Car Wash. “The organization’s commitment to including people with disabilities in the community, focusing on their abilities and providing the support services they need and desire aligns with the kind of community impact we want Big Dan’s to have. We’re proud to support CARC and the important work they do for individuals and families throughout the Lake City area.”

Big Dan’s Lake City location offers the company’s signature express car wash experience, including unlimited wash memberships and free amenities designed to make every visit fast, convenient and enjoyable. The Lake City location also joins Big Dan’s growing network of locations across Florida and the Southeast, allowing members to use their unlimited membership at participating Big Dan’s locations throughout the company’s expanding footprint.
