Based in Dallas, Ms. Shofner leads Hilgers’ national corporate practice, advising businesses from startups through sale on matters including mergers and acquisitions, private fundraising, commercial contracts, employment issues and corporate governance. She combines in-house and private practice experience with a practical, business-focused approach that helps clients make confident strategic decisions.

Mr. Burgess, based in Atlanta, maintains a nationwide practice spanning complex antitrust and competition cases, trade secret disputes, government investigations and commercial litigation. He represents clients ranging from innovative startups and individuals to Fortune 500 companies in high-stakes disputes. He clerked for Judge Sidney A. Fitzwater of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Mr. Scheinberg, based in Pittsburgh, represents corporate clients in high-stakes litigation, government investigations, and electronic discovery matters. His practice includes serving as lead counsel in complex disputes nationwide and managing sophisticated discovery in bet-the-company litigation. He has also advised clients in matters involving the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and other federal agencies.
