The integration enables pathologists to dictate reports, control report content with natural-language instructions, use existing templates and shortcuts, and complete structured reporting workflows without leaving Fusion or taking their focus off the slides.
Built specifically for pathology, Conflux provides low-latency dictation for medical terminology, measurements, specimen identifiers, and report formatting. Case and reporting context help recognize intended terminology and correct common transcription errors in real time, producing cleaner, report-ready text with less manual editing. Each reportable element is verified by the pathologist and includes a reference to its source.
Conflux also lets pathologists do more than dictate. Instructions such as “set all parts to normal” update the appropriate portions of the report directly in a specimen- and context-aware manner. Existing templates, macros, dot phrases, and snippet libraries can be imported and triggered by voice or typing, preserving familiar workflows while adapting content to the active case, specimen, or report section.
Embedded within Fusion AP, Conflux places report creation alongside the active case, synchronizes dictation controls, follows display preferences, and incorporates relevant case information, findings, and annotations into the report.
