Daleville Community Schools Cuts Investigation Time To Minutes by Converting Current Cameras Without Replacement

Indiana district keeps its existing cameras, drops the on-site-only video access, and gives 15–20 staff live views without a single firewall change

DALEVILLE, IN, UNITED STATES, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Daleville Community Schools, a K-12 public school district of about 1,000 students across an elementary school and a junior-senior high school, has replaced its network video recorders with an AI physical security platform from Coram AI, a Sunnyvale-based AI physical security company. The district kept its more than 100 existing 4K cameras and connected them to the new system in under an hour.

Before the change, live video was effectively locked to the buildings: remote access was limited to a few administrators, remote video quality degraded badly, and sharing footage meant pulling files off a server manually and uploading them to Google Drive. The district’s small IT team also carried the load of maintaining multiple NVRs, manual retention management, and the port forwarding and firewall changes that remote access required — changes that came with cybersecurity risk.
