The partnership marks the beginning of a long term collaboration focused on expanding the reach of the ZU Tiles brand through new products, organized play support, and new promotional opportunities.
Over the past several years, ZU Tiles® has earned praise for its unique blend of strategic depth, family friendly play, and engaging gameplay. Inspired by the creatures of the lunar zodiac, the game challenges players to build patterns of compatible creatures while disrupting their opponent’s plans. Its thoughtful design and welcoming gameplay have earned the game industry recognition and a passionate community of dedicated players.
As part of the agreement, Speedrobo Games is now distributing ZU Tiles: Hime. 2 player Starter Sets and officially licensed ZU Tiles card sleeves are now available through its online storefront and directly to their network of local game stores. The companies will also be exhibiting together at industry conventions with shared booths, giving players and retailers more opportunities to experience the growing ZU Tiles universe firsthand.
ZU Tiles: Hime was the first set of ZU Tiles ever released. Some might even consider it the ‘Alpha’ version of the game. With its high quality tiles and uniquely whimsical anime-inspired art, each player chooses a pre-constructed deck (either the Tiger, Dog, Horse deck or the Rabbit, Pig, Ram deck) to see who between them can outthink and outplay the other. The ZU Tiles: Hime Starter Set 1 is a great way to first experience the world of ZU Tiles and be completely ready for when Speedrobo Games releases additional and fully compatible products in 2027
