Haitian-born center forward brings professional experience from Haiti and Central America, U.S. soccer experience, and recent UPSL success to OSNER’S FC
BROOKLYN, NY, UNITED STATES, August 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — OSNER’S FC is proud to announce the addition of Nael Wellofky Elysee, an experienced Haitian-born winger and attacking forward whose football journey has taken him from Haiti to Central America and the United States.
The arrival of Elysee represents another important step in OSNER’S FC’s commitment to assembling a competitive, technically accomplished, and culturally diverse roster capable of competing at a high level while creating meaningful opportunities for players to continue their development.
Elysee joins OSNER’S FC following his time with Miami United FC, bringing pace, creativity, attacking intelligence, and experience to a club competing across the NPSL, UPSL Premier and U.S Open Cup, with additional senior teams competing in UPSL Division 1 and Division 2.
For OSNER’S FC, however, this signing represents more than strengthening an attacking position. Elysee embodies several principles central to the club’s identity: Haitian football heritage, international experience, competitive ambition, player development, and the belief that Brooklyn and New York City can provide an important platform for talented footballers to pursue their aspirations.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Nael Wellofky Elysee to OSNER’S FC,” said J. Ronald Nazaire, President and Acting General Manager of OSNER’S FC. “Nael comes to us with experience, maturity, and an understanding of different football environments. He has competed in Haiti, Central America, and the United States. That journey brings perspective and professionalism to our dressing room, and we believe his attacking qualities can make an important contribution to what we are building.”
FROM HAITI TO THE INTERNATIONAL GAME
Born in Haiti, Nael Wellofky Elysee developed within a football culture recognized throughout the Caribbean for producing technically gifted, creative, and resilient players.
His development included exposure to Haiti’s youth national-team environment. Contemporary reporting listed Elysee among Haiti’s U-17 players during the Caribbean qualifying stage toward the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, providing him with an early opportunity to experience the expectations and responsibility associated with representing his country.
Elysee later competed professionally in Haiti with Don Bosco FC de Pétion-Ville, one of the established names in Haitian football. During Don Bosco’s championship campaign in 2018, Elysee scored eight goals, according to information provided to OSNER’S FC, contributing attacking production to a successful team environment.
Those experiences helped shape the qualities he now brings to Brooklyn.
As a natural right winger and attacking forward, Elysee offers more than straight-line speed. His profile gives the coaching staff an option capable of maintaining width, attacking defenders one-versus-one, exploiting half-spaces, making penetrating runs behind defensive lines, and combining effectively with midfielders and overlapping fullbacks in the final third.
EXPERIENCE BEYOND HAITI
Elysee’s football journey subsequently expanded beyond Haiti into Central America.
Beginning in 2020, his career took him to Costa Rica, where his football experience included associations with Herediano, Municipal Grecia, and Santos de Guápiles, before his journey continued elsewhere in the region.
Experiencing different football cultures can be invaluable for an attacking player. Every league presents different tactical demands, defensive structures, tempos, and expectations. Elysee’s exposure to multiple environments required him to adapt his movement, decision-making, and overall approach to attacking football.
That adaptability is one of the characteristics that attracted OSNER’S FC.
CONTINUING HIS JOURNEY IN THE UNITED STATES
After arriving in the United States, Elysee continued his career within the increasingly competitive American semi-professional soccer landscape.
In 2024, he competed with Island United in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) before subsequently joining Miami United FC, where he competed during the 2025–26 period.
His experience with Miami United added another significant chapter to his career, placing him in a highly competitive UPSL environment before his decision to bring his experience and attacking ability north to New York City and OSNER’S FC.
“I am excited about this opportunity and about joining OSNER’S FC,” Elysee said. “Every place I have played has taught me something different about football and about myself as a player. Now I want to bring that experience, my energy, and my abilities to this team. I am coming here to work, to compete, and to help the club achieve its objectives.”
Elysee added:
“As an attacking player, I want to create opportunities, score goals, and help my teammates. But football is never about one individual. To accomplish something meaningful, everyone has to work for each other. I see ambition in OSNER’S FC, and I want to contribute to that ambition.”
HAITIAN ROOTS, BROOKLYN HOME, NEW YORK CITY AMBITION
There is additional significance to a Haitian-born footballer of Elysee’s background joining OSNER’S FC.
As a Haitian-American initiated soccer club in New York City, OSNER’S FC proudly embraces its Haitian heritage while building an organization reflective of the extraordinary diversity of Brooklyn and the greater New York metropolitan area.
The club seeks to create a dressing room where Haitian, Caribbean, African, Latino, American, European and other international players can come together under one badge, one sporting philosophy, and one collective ambition.
Football becomes the common language.
“Nael’s Haitian background has special meaning because Haitian football is an important part of our heritage,” Nazaire said. “But our vision extends beyond any one nationality. Brooklyn is one of the most diverse communities in the world, and we want OSNER’S FC to reflect that diversity. Football gives people from completely different backgrounds the ability to enter one dressing room, wear one uniform, pursue one objective, and become a family.”
A HOME IN BROOKLYN
As Elysee begins this new chapter, he joins a club continuing to establish its identity and roots in Brooklyn, New York City.
OSNER’S FC’s home venue is the Floyd Bennett Sports Complex, 3159 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11234. The complex provides the club with a recognizable Brooklyn home from which its players can compete and its supporters, families, and community can gather.
For OSNER’S FC, establishing a home venue is an important component of building a sustainable football institution. The objective is for young academy players to attend senior matches, watch experienced players such as Elysee compete, and understand that the progression from youth development to senior football is tangible.
“A football club needs roots,” Nazaire said. “We want our home in Brooklyn to become a place where our supporters gather, where families feel welcome, and where our academy players can watch the senior team and imagine themselves on that same field one day. When a young player sees someone with Nael’s experience competing in an OSNER’S FC jersey, we want that child to understand that development has a destination.”
MORE THAN A SIGNING — PART OF A PLAYER PATHWAY
Experienced players such as Elysee also serve an important purpose within the broader OSNER’S FC player-development model.
The organization is building an integrated pathway connecting its youth academy to UPSL Division 2, UPSL Division 1, UPSL Premier, and the NPSL first-team environment.
The objective is to provide players with progressively demanding levels of competition while creating opportunities appropriate to their development, ability, and ambitions, whether their goal is collegiate soccer, professional football, or simply reaching the highest level of their individual potential.
Young players benefit not only from coaching but from being surrounded by footballers who have experienced professional and international environments. They can observe preparation, tactical discipline, training habits, resilience, and the mentality required to compete.
“We want pathways, but we also want standards,” Nazaire explained. “Moving from the academy toward our senior teams must be earned through development, discipline, and performance. Bringing experienced players into OSNER’S FC strengthens our first team while raising the standards throughout the organization.”
READY FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER
For Nael Wellofky Elysee, football has already provided a journey spanning Haiti, Central America, and the United States.
Now, his next chapter begins in Brooklyn with OSNER’S FC.
“I am grateful for everything football has given me and every experience that has helped develop me,” Elysee said. “My focus now is OSNER’S FC. I want to work with my teammates and coaches, continue improving, and help this club accomplish something that the players, organization, and community can be proud of.”
Nazaire concluded:
“We are building something in Brooklyn with Haitian roots, New York City character, and ambitions that extend far beyond one player or one season. Nael becomes another important piece of that journey. We believe in what he can contribute, and we are excited to welcome him into the OSNER’S FC family. Now the work begins.”
