OCFO will bring Cape Town entrepreneurs together for the 2026 Faith Driven Entrepreneur Conference, exploring faith, purpose and business.
CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Outsourced CFO (OCFO) will host a Cape Town Watch Party for the 2026 Faith Driven Entrepreneur Conference on 18 September, bringing local entrepreneurs and business leaders together as part of a global gathering exploring the intersection of Christian faith, values, and entrepreneurship.
The annual Faith Driven Entrepreneur Conference connects thousands of entrepreneurs around the world through online participation and locally hosted Watch Parties. More than 7,000 entrepreneurs gathered across 600 locations for the previous conference, with Watch Parties held in countries ranging from Ghana and Nigeria to Singapore, the Netherlands and South Africa.
This year’s conference will feature business, leadership and faith voices including bestselling author and leadership expert John Maxwell, Hobby Lobby founder David Green, entrepreneur and three-time unicorn co-founder Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, Grammy Award-winning artist Chris Tomlin, Fearless Summit founder Muriithi Wanjau, and Faith Driven Entrepreneur co-founder Henry Kaestner.
For OCFO Co-Founder and Managing Director Louw Barnardt, hosting the Cape Town gathering reflects a conviction that values and business do not need to occupy separate parts of an entrepreneur’s life.
“As entrepreneurs, it is easy to focus the thinking around our business in terms of income, expenses, profits, and losses,” said Barnardt. “The businesses we build, the people we employ, the decisions we make and the problems we choose to solve should also reflect how we live our own ethos, values and culture. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.”
The Faith Driven Entrepreneur movement encourages founders and business leaders to consider entrepreneurship as part of their calling to bring real change to society, with the 2026 conference centred on the theme of building for more than personal recognition or commercial success.
The Cape Town Watch Party will give participants an opportunity to experience the global conference together while connecting with other local entrepreneurs navigating many of the same questions around purpose, leadership, and growth.
“There is enormous value in being in a room with other entrepreneurs who understand both the opportunities and the weight that come with building a business,” Barnardt said. “This isn’t about stepping away from ambition or pretending that commercial performance doesn’t matter. It’s about asking what that ambition is ultimately serving and what it looks like to build something that positively transforms society while still building an excellent business.”
OCFO works with entrepreneurs and growing businesses across South Africa and internationally, providing outsourced CFO, cloud accounting, financial management, compliance, business advisory and talent solutions. The firm supports more than 1,500 businesses across 35 countries and has offices in Cape Town, Sandton, London and New York.
Barnardt said the decision to host a Watch Party also reflects the role that community can play for founders, who often carry significant responsibility while making difficult decisions largely on their own.
“Entrepreneurship can be surprisingly lonely, particularly when you’re trying to work out what impactful leadership looks like in the middle of very real commercial pressures,” he said. “Our hope is that people leave encouraged, challenged and reminded that they are not building alone. We want to create a space where founders can connect with people who share that perspective and have meaningful conversations that continue beyond the conference itself.”
The Faith Driven Entrepreneur Conference takes place on Friday, 18 September 2026, with the Cape Town Watch Party beginning at 08:30 at The Cape Town Club. Check-In will be from 8:00 – 8:30. The approximately two-hour global conference is designed specifically for entrepreneurs, founders, business owners, senior executives and other business leaders.
Registration for the Cape Town Watch Party is now open. For more information about the 2026 Faith Driven Entrepreneur Conference and to register for the Cape Town event, visit the official registration page.
