Alex Su, President, Latitude Legal
Under Su’s leadership, Latitude has nearly doubled its client base and office footprint, opening nine new offices and adding 243 new corporate legal department clients and 120 new law firm clients, including a growing roster of Fortune 500 companies and Am Law 200 law firms. New client acquisition has accelerated further in 2026, up 52% compared to the first half of last year—the past twelve months brought more new clients than any year in company history. Those new client relationships span a range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, energy, retail, life sciences, and technology.
Latitude specializes in providing former Big Law attorneys and in-house counsel to corporate legal departments and law firms for short- and long-term engagements.
“Trust and accountability have been at the heart of our growth over the past 13 years,” said Ross Booher, CEO of Latitude. “We’ve been fortunate to work with leading legal departments and law firms that trust Latitude attorneys with sophisticated work. Our attorneys deliver for clients, engagement after engagement, across a wide range of roles, from trying complex commercial lawsuits in court to serving as interim in-house counsel at all levels, including as chief legal officers. Our client service Partners, all former law firm partners or senior in-house counsel, provide high-touch, personal service, understand our clients from a peer’s perspective, and take ownership of finding attorneys with both the legal qualifications and the right culture and personality fit for the team. Having practiced in Big Law himself, Alex understands the judgment and accountability it takes for attorneys to succeed in these roles, and he has helped us expand our Partner team while staying true to that approach. We’re delighted to have him step into this next phase of leadership.”
As President, Su will oversee Latitude’s business development, marketing, talent, revenue operations, and enablement functions, which support the company’s offices and client services Partners. He joined Latitude from Ironclad, a leading AI contracting company, and previously held a leadership role at an AI-native document intelligence startup. Prior to that, he was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edmond E. Chang of the Northern District of Illinois. Su graduated from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
Latitude’s growth also comes as AI and other technologies are reshaping legal delivery and how legal work is resourced.
“Legal departments and law firms are having to move faster and respond to market conditions that AI itself is often driving,” Su said. “As routine work gets automated, the work that’s left for legal teams to handle is more complex, higher stakes, and less predictable, and clients need to be able to bring in support quickly when it hits. That need for speed and responsiveness is only going to grow, and so will the need for lawyers who can own the work end to end and deliver outcomes that their clients depend on.”
Latitude opened its most recent office in Denver in August, with former public company general counsel David Hamm as managing partner. The company has offices in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville (Franklin), New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Tampa, and Washington, DC.
