LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Complexio, the intelligence layer for enterprise AI, is one of six vendors analysed in the 2026 Gartner Coolest Vendor Innovations in Process Intelligence research and a Representative Vendor in the 2026 Gartner How to Navigate the Emerging AI Context Platform Market report.

Complexio has been named in two Gartner research reports, Coolest Vendor Innovations in Process Intelligence and How to Navigate the Emerging AI Context Platform Market. Both reports examine the requirement for AI to have governed, up-to-date context of how a business operates in order to be effective and to scale across the company, a constraint that has limited AI from the outset.

Complexio’s approach is to assemble context from the language of the business itself, rather than relying on traditional methods such as process mapping and consultancy. By ingesting unstructured data and integrating it with structured data systems, the platform automatically builds an ontology grounded in the organisation’s own historical communications. This is expressed in the Event Knowledge Graph, a living model of the business that is continuously updated as changes occur, rather than a single point-in-time view of the organisation.

Complexio’s context is accessed through two proprietary surfaces and can be connected to by any other AI system. Stevie is a conversational interface that proactively brings employees the topics relevant to their role and lets them interrogate the underlying data further, with every answer traced to source. Enterprise Automator identifies recurring manual work and proposes agentic automations for people to review and ratify before execution. Other AI tools and agents can also connect to Complexio’s intelligence layer through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Governance is inherent to platform access, with role-based permissions so that people, agents and connected systems see only what their role allows and every proposal carries its evidence.
Complexio is built for any industry with operational complexity. It is in production across a growing portfolio of enterprises, among them Hafnia Limited, Marfin Management S.A.M., Alassia NewShips Management Inc and BW Epic Kosan, and its industry-agnostic architecture has carried it beyond shipping into manufacturing, logistics, market infrastructure and information services, global commodity trading, and insurance. Hafnia reported in its Q1 2026 results that initial applications of Complexio had improved response times across commercial and finance workflows, with significant potential to scale across the company through 2026 and 2027.

Gartner’s report on AI context platforms states: “By 2027, organizations that prioritize semantics in AI-ready data will increase their agentic AI accuracy by up to 80% and reduce costs by up to 60%.” Complexio’s position is that the semantics of a business live in the coordination between people and systems rather than inside any single system of record. In Complexio’s view, the two reports reflect a wider shift in enterprise AI, from improving what models can do to giving them the context and the judgement structures needed to operate, and to scale, inside a real business, moving from individual departments to the enterprise as a whole.

“No single person can hold a complete picture of how a large business operates. AI can, but only if it has the context from the start rather than being briefed on it every time, and only if that context respects the constraints an enterprise works within, such as who is allowed to see what and who decides. Complexio provides that, and it is what lets AI move beyond a single department into the wider business. It is encouraging to see Gartner’s research arriving at a view Complexio has held since day one,” said Matthew Talbot, Co-CEO of Complexio.
