Bevy Smith and Patrik-Ian Polk to Host ‘Muses, Co-Conspirators & Champions’ During Atlanta Black Pride

ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, August 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — iN-Hale Media & Entertainment, powered by Gilead Sciences, will present Cultural Architects & Torchbearers: Muses, Co-Conspirators & Champions on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in Atlanta. Timed to coincide with Atlanta Black Pride, the experience will celebrate the enduring creative, emotional and cultural relationships between Black gay and queer men and Black women.

The evening will be hosted by Bevy Smith, celebrated media personality, author and Gracie Award-winning host of SiriusXM’s Bevelations, and Patrik-Ian Polk, the acclaimed filmmaker and television creator best known for the groundbreaking series Noah’s Arc. Together, Smith and Polk bring distinct perspectives from the worlds of media, entertainment, fashion and Black LGBTQ+ storytelling to an evening centered on culture, connection and community.

Presented under the creative theme “Reimagining the Black Swan,” the event explores the Black Swan as a metaphor for relationships that have often been misunderstood or overlooked, yet have profoundly shaped Black culture. From fashion and entertainment to language, artistry and identity, the event will honor the ways Black queer men and Black women have championed, protected, inspired and amplified one another across generations.

Gilead’s support of the iN-Hale Media’s Cultural Architects & Torchbearers platform will also bring an intentional health and wellness dimension to the experience. Through culturally relevant conversation, art and media, the evening will incorporate status-neutral messaging around dignity, prevention, testing, care and stigma reduction without separating health from the broader celebration of Black life and culture.

By bringing the experience to Atlanta during Black Pride, iN-Hale and Gilead are creating space for Black LGBTQ+ voices, relationships and cultural contributions to be celebrated while advancing conversations around wellness, prevention, care and stigma reduction.

The event is designed not only as a singular Atlanta Black Pride gathering, but as a model for culturally grounded engagement that can extend beyond one evening. The invite-only event will unfold in two parts beginning with an intimate dinner for key community stakeholders, tastemakers, and influential voices. Following dinner, the evening will expand into an immersive celebration for approximately 150 guests, blending multimedia, live performance, music, and movement.
